We are a growing research and education institution seeking a versatile and talented Content Writer and Planner to drive engagement and visibility across multiple platforms. In this hybrid role, you will craft compelling content, organize content strategies, and manage digital advertisements that effectively connect with our student base and align with our institutional objectives.You should possess strong writing skills, a creative and analytical mindset, and the ability to balance planning, content creation, and ad campaign management. A solid understanding of marketing and digital media is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Writing & Planning
- Produce well-researched and high-quality content for both online and print publications.
- Develop and manage content calendars that align with organizational goals and campaign timelines.
- Plan content themes, messaging strategies, and delivery schedules across channels.
- Generate innovative content ideas aligned with the institution’s mission and trends.
- Collaborate with academic, creative, and marketing teams to deliver consistent and engaging content for websites, emails, social media, product descriptions, videos, and blogs.
- Monitor and analyze performance of content pieces and suggest improvements.
- Adhere to editorial calendars, university style guides, and brand voice standards.
Ads Management
- Develop, launch, and manage paid digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Write compelling ad copy that aligns with content strategy and campaign goals.
- Track performance metrics (CTR, CPC, conversion rates) and continuously optimize ad content and targeting.
- Work with graphic designers and content teams to ensure ad creatives meet platform standards.
- Stay up to date on digital ad trends and platform algorithm changes to ensure campaigns remain effective.
- Provide regular reports on ad performance and ROI.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of excellent writing and content planning, with samples/portfolio.
- Strong command of the English language and awareness of current trends.
- Experience in managing social media and search engine ads.
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and other advertising platforms.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to manage content and ad calendars.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the university’s brand, tone, and products/services is a plus.
- Basic SEO and analytics knowledge preferred.
